Crowdestate performance report: May 2021

Let’s take a look back at May 2021 – new, completed and overdue projects, payments made to investors and secondary market transactions.
Successfully funded projects
In May 2021, 7 new investment opportunities were launched on Crowdestate’s crowdfunding platform. 4 out of them were Estonian, and 3 were Latvian projects. A total of 7 projects were funded. The total number of funded projects increased to 332, in the amount of EUR 104 432 951.
New investment opportunities on the platform
The average investment amount in May was EUR 334.69. Compared to the last month, the average investment amount has increased by EUR 42.77.
Exited investment opportunities
A total of 12 successful exits were made during the month of May and the total number of investment opportunities that ended successfully increased to 220.
The total amount of EUR 1 022 543.51 was paid out to investors. Including principal repayments totalling EUR 974 907.79, interest payments totalling EUR 45 726.10, and late fees in the amount of EUR 1 909.62.

Marketplace statistics
32.67% of Crowdestate investors are active in the secondary market. In May, 772 investment offers were published for sale, in the amount of EUR 784 423.91
and 267 investment opportunities were bought in the amount of EUR 160 581.70.
The most-traded project was Verkkosaarenranta, Helsinki which was published for sale 90 times. The most bought project this month was Nord Company, which was bought a total of 32 times.
May pay-outs and overdue projects
Repayments to investors were made from 38 different investment opportunities totalling EUR 1 132 971.82 of which EUR 1 081 907.79 were principal repayments, EUR 47 244.79 interest payments, and late fees in the amount of EUR 3 819.24.
As of June 1st, payments of 21 different projects had been late, totalling EUR 11 563 507.07, including EUR 6 980 214.12 principal, EUR 1 284 108.56 interest payments and late fees in the amount of EUR 3 299 184.39.
